Construction helmet yellow - Brand ARBO center
If you work in construction, we don't need to tell you that you have to wear a construction helmet.
Not only because it is mandatory in most cases, but especially for yourself. You don't want to get a head injury, do you? But besides a construction site, it is also dangerous in many other workplaces. When working with (hoisting) cranes, for example, or other large equipment. Accidents can happen anywhere and safety comes first. You can wear a construction helmet in different colors. Yellow is one of these. Buy your yellow construction helmet directly in our webshop, or read on to find out when you specifically wear a construction helmet in yellow.
Confess
If you work at a small company, you might all wear the same color helmet. You know each other who does what. But the larger the company or construction site, the more colors you encounter. That looks nice, but it's not easy! With those different colors you know exactly who you are dealing with. Each function has its own color.
Are you a worker, executive employee or do you work in earthmoving? Then your construction helmet is yellow. Everyone will then immediately see which position you perform.
Construction helmet yellow
You now know which color helmet to wear. But that doesn't get you there yet. There is also a difference in the type of helmet. You can't see that from the outside, but one helmet is made of different material than the other. And that means that not every helmet protects your head equally well. Regardless of the obligation at work, it is best to choose a helmet that meets the EN397 regulations. Then you can be sure that your head is getting the best protection available.
How long will your helmet last?
The theoretical life of the equipment is 5 years from the date of manufacture (see date under the visor). The actual lifespan of the equipment depends on the intensity, frequency, environment of use, skill of the user, maintenance, storage, etc. With normal use, your construction helmet will last between three and five years. Is your helmet made of polyethylene? Then replace it after three years. A helmet made of polycarbonate (PC), ABS polymer (ABS) or polyamide (PA) must be replaced after five years. But be careful in case of damage! Did something happen where your helmet provided protection? Then replace it immediately. Even if you can't see it, the inside may be damaged. And that means that your head is less well protected afterwards.
