Why HEKA bandage scissors?

Why do these scissors have a bend?

Thanks to special scissors and extra large plastic handles, the scissors cut comfortably. You don't have to worry about the correct placement: the scissors cut well from every angle. But speaking of angles: the striking bend that the scissors make is immediately noticeable. This of course has a function. You always cut with the scissors in line with your hand, so often with the point pointed towards where you need to cut. This is dangerous when cutting clothing or bandages. In this way, with normal scissors, the tip of the scissors could touch the skin. With the HEKA bandage scissors, the scissors are at an angle to your hand. For example, the point is never pointed towards the skin when cutting. That's a lot safer.

Please note: not sterile

The HEKA plastic bandage scissors are not sterile. So be careful when using it on (open) wounds.
